Given the hard times that we’re in, we need blues music now more than ever. As fans, we can listen to the music while we make sure that musicians can pay their bills – even when we’re not out in the clubs.
Below are links to live performances by some of Chicago’s great blues musicians, listed alphabetically by first name. Listen and enjoy. Then, take the money that you’d spend on going out to see that concert, and give it directly to the musicians. There’s a list of Paypal IDs for many of your favorite blues musicians, both leaders and side musicians. Here’s info in case you need to learn how to use PayPal, Venmo, and CashApp. And if you’d rather give to the organization and let us divide up 100% of your donation among to the musicians, you can do that, too.
