Vaccine Ambassadors: Watch why these legends got the vaccine...

Blues musicians are Chicago heroes, and they have a real role to play in making sure that everyone who can gets the vaccine. People hear them in a different way than they hear the experts on TV, especially older, African-American Chicagoans who have been hit hardest by the virus. We are working with Chicago’s blues legends to be community ambassadors for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Bronzeville Blues Collaborative

Chicago Blues Revival is a founder and convener of the Bronzeville Blues Collaborative, a collective of organizations that is bringing the blues back to the neighborhood where it grew up. Together with Urban Juncture, Haven Studio, The Muddy Waters MOJO Museum, and Chicago Public Art Group, we present free, all-ages shows in the community and bring attention to the blues heritage of Bronzeville.
