December 9th is shaping up to be a truly special evening! From 6–9 PM, we’ll gather at Horse Thief Hollow Brewing Co.in Beverly to celebrate the incredible legacy of Jeff Pinzino, the founder of Chicago Blues Revival! Jeff’s vision and passion have shaped so much of who we are today, and we’re excited to lift him up with joy, gratitude, and community as he transitions out of his role.
This celebration also shines a light on the programs Jeff helped build.
Proceeds from this event support our programming, with special emphasis on our Blues Institute Education Program. Through this work, young people learn the history, artistry, and cultural roots of the blues — a tradition created by, rooted in, and carried forward by Black Chicagoans. Your presence helps us continue this mission with intention, pride, and heart.
We’re thrilled that the evening will be hosted by Billy Branch, who, along with his wife Rosa Branch, plays a key role in our youth education programming. Billy will kick off a spirited Chicago Blues Revival Jam, joined by Lil’ Ed, Lynne Jordan, Larry Williams, Sumito “Ariyo” Ariyoshi, and Dionte McMusick plus a lively rotation of special guests throughout the night! The energy will be high, the music will be rich, and the celebration will be unforgettable!
Enjoy live blues, great food, a cash bar, and an uplifting evening as we honor Jeff, uplift our community, and close out the year with gratitude and forward momentum!
